2. Medical Disclaimer
All treatments offered are medical or aesthetic procedures. Results may vary from person to person and are dependent on individual anatomy, metabolism, and lifestyle.
Nothing on this website constitutes medical advice. All treatments are subject to a mandatory face-to-face consultation, medical assessment, and confirmation of suitability before proceeding.
3. Eligibility
You must be 18 years or over to receive treatments, unless stated otherwise by specific laws regarding non-medical procedures. We operate a strictly “Challenge 25” policy; valid photographic ID (Passport or Driving Licence) may be required before treatment can commence.
4. Consultations
- A consultation is mandatory before any injectable or medical treatment.
- We reserve the right to refuse treatment if it is deemed unsuitable, unsafe, or not in the client’s best interest.
- Consultation fees (if applicable) are non-refundable but may be redeemable against treatment costs if booked within a specified timeframe.
5. Treatment Outcomes
- Results are not guaranteed. Aesthetic medicine is an art as well as a science; individual results vary.
- Common side effects such as swelling, bruising, redness, tenderness, or minor asymmetry are normal risks associated with injectables and skin treatments.
- Final results may take days or weeks to settle (e.g., up to 2 weeks for Toxin/Anti-wrinkle injections and 4 weeks for Dermal Fillers).
- No refunds are given based on dissatisfaction with results if the treatment was performed medically correctly and within standard clinical protocols.
6. Medical History & Consent
You must disclose accurate and complete medical information prior to treatment. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Current medical conditions
- Allergies (specifically to lidocaine, bees, or medication)
- Current medications (including blood thinners or antibiotics)
- Previous aesthetic treatments and any prior complications
Failure to disclose relevant medical history may result in treatment complications. Kalesthia Aesthetics accepts no liability for injury or complications resulting from withheld information.
7. Prices & Payments
- All prices are listed in GBP (£).
- We reserve the right to change prices without prior notice; however, the price confirmed at the time of booking will be honoured.
- Full payment is required before or immediately following the treatment on the day.
- We accept cash and bank transfers.
8. Booking Fees / Deposits
- A non-refundable deposit/booking fee is required to secure your appointment slot.
- This deposit will be deducted from your final treatment balance on the day.
- Deposits are strictly non-refundable if the cancellation terms (Section 9) are not met.
9. Cancellation & No-Show Policy
We understand that circumstances may change, but late cancellations affect our business and other clients.
- Minimum 48 hours’ notice is required to reschedule or cancel an appointment.
- Cancellations made within 48 hours of the appointment time will result in the loss of your deposit.
- No-Shows: Failure to attend without notice will result in the loss of the deposit and may result in a refusal of future bookings or a requirement to pay in full upfront for future appointments.
10. Refund Policy
- Services: No refunds are provided for completed treatments.
- Change of Mind: No refunds are provided due to a change of mind once the treatment has been administered.
- Clinical Fault: Refunds are only considered if the treatment was not performed in accordance with clinical standards.
- If we (Kalesthia Aesthetics) must cancel your appointment due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., practitioner illness) and cannot reschedule to a suitable date, a full refund of the deposit will be issued.
11. Aftercare
- Comprehensive aftercare advice will be provided. This must be followed strictly to ensure optimal results and minimize risks.
- Failure to follow aftercare advice (e.g., drinking alcohol, touching the area, heavy exercise) may affect your results and voids our liability for resulting complications.
- Any included follow-up appointments (reviews) must be attended within the advised timeframe (usually 2–3 weeks post-treatment).
12. Adverse Reactions & Complications
- While rare, complications such as vascular occlusion, infection, or allergic reaction are possible.
- If you experience any concerning symptoms, you must contact us immediately on the phone number provided.
- In the event of a medical emergency (e.g., difficulty breathing, severe pain, loss of vision), seek emergency medical help (A&E) immediately.
- We are not responsible for complications caused by subsequent treatments performed by other practitioners.
13. Photographs & Marketing
Medical photography is required for insurance and medical record purposes.
